BACKGROUND & STRATEGY
The building which once housed the first paper mill in western Pennsylvania was built in 1792. In the two centuries that followed, the location also served as an orphanage, a salvage yard, and an important stop on the Underground Railroad. Most recently, it has been the home of a craft and home decor boutique. The new owners of the building and business were looking for marketing materials which promoted the unique site and its new services.

IMPACT
The Stone Mill already had a logo featuring a hand-drawn illustration of their historic building. Maintaining an emphasis on this beautiful rendering while updating the logo for modern applications was skillfully accomplished. Promoting new services as a wedding venue and event host was also a focus of new advertising.
